Apply for Ms. Powell's Excellence in Teaching Resources Award!

.This award is given to websites that provide top quality resources for teachers.  (  All sites that have received this award have original and practical management ideas not often found on the web.  All award winners are presented with the award logo above to display on their site.  There are three ways to earn the award:

*General Awards: Sites I discover and find useful,  then send the award as a token of appreciation for all of the hard work that has gone into the site.

*Idea of the Month Award: Can be solicited or unsolicited.  For a specific, creative resource on a site.  The site receiving this award is also featured with a photo on the Links page.

*Teaching Resource of the Month: Can be solicited or unsolicited.  For an overall well-done site packed with great ideas.

Award requirements

1.  Your site must have information designed for teachers, not just students or parents.  A class website is acceptable as long as there is a seperate page/section for teachers.

2.  Your site must be easy to navigate, organized, have minimal typos and spelling errors, and have most links in working order.  You can use
http://www.netmechanic.com to check your links, HTML errors, and spelling for FREE before submission.

3.  Your site must have MANAGEMENT TIPS- organizational strategies, discipline methods, procedural information, forms you use, ideas for communicating with parents/ administration, etc.  Management ideas are a much rarer find on the internet: this award is for teaching resources, not lesson plans which are more easily obtainable.
